President Obama claims he “not an ideologue”…but me thinks he doth protest too much…

Recently in Chicago, Nobel Peace Prize winner (unlike our President, he actually DESERVED his as a global symbol of the fight against communism), Lech Walesa said in a speech:
“No one has the least doubt that the United States is the economic and military leader in the world, but I have heard a lot of doubts regarding the moral and political leadership of the United States. Other nations have always rested their hopes on the United States (…) but we have lost that hope”.
Where does that leave us? Has the world lost it’s beacon of hope for freedom and democracy? Where ARE we headed?

Nothing is off the table in this discussion between Janet and Crash! Everything from China’s vested interest in ‘all things American’ to Tim Tebow’s pro-life Super Bowl ad. Why does the pro-choice movement insist on keeping their patients in the dark? After all, if it’s a “choice”, wouldn’t you want your patient to make an informed “choice”? Listen in as Crash boils it down to a struggle between absolute, and relative truth.

Join our hosts Janet and Crash as they deliberate the latest political upheaval in MassaTOOsis…MaCHECHEWsit…Massachusetts! What does it mean to the Presidents overall agenda?…. What about the GOP? Crash is practically giddy over the election of Scott Brown to fill the late Senator Ted Kennedy’s vacant seat! Nancy Pelosi, according to Janet, is as manipulative as EVER in her public statements regarding the doomed Health-Care proposal, spinning herself and the bills fate as victims to the evil right wing. It is entirely possible that the current grass roots ‘Tea Party’ movement will force the creation of a powerful third party if the GOP doesn’t wake up with a jolt. What are your thoughts about the election results?

Once again, a SMORGASBORD of opinion from these two! Everything from Ft. Hood to Sarah Palin come to the discussion table. Janet asks “Is there one single staunch conservative in office serving anywhere, right now? If so, why don’t they speak up?” Crash says to watch Senator John Thune of South Dakota. In his opinion, Thune may be the Jimmy Stewart we’ve been waiting for . . .
Crash as usual is the ‘voice of reason’, but Janet thinks he’s giving a free pass out of ‘political correctness’ on some issues. Regarding the penal system, she thinks a prison sentence should last without early release, he thinks that the possibility of early release is an incentive that helps control inmate behavior. So which is it? What do you think?
What will happen if our banker-China, calls in our debt? The old saying “borrow a thousand from the bank, and you’re a debtor…borrow a million, and you’re the bank’s partner”, suggests we are not only “partner’s” with China, but completely at their mercy. China . . . merciful? Hmmm.

Has this President made us a better nation?
Are we safer after the Presidents recent trips and activities? Janet certainly doesn’t think so, and Crash goes so far as saying that this President is a “joke”. Janet actually hopes he is considered a “lame duck” in his first year! Was the trip to Copenhagen worthy of our Presidents time to start with? Both hosts have very strong opinions on that one!
Even the Roman Polanski arrest is on the topic list this week. Crash waxes about whether truth is relative or absolute. Don’t miss the lessons these two discuss from the days headlines.

Talk about corruption! Crash and Janet wonder loudly HOW this President can truthfully be “unaware” of tactics used by this national level group he is so intimately tied to. The selfish deceit in these groups/politicians on both sides of the isle seems to be what most of America is up in arms about. IT’S ABOUT THE CRUMBLING CHARACTER OF OUR COUNTRY AND IT’S LEADERS. Fix the corruption from the bottom up, THEN tackle issues like Health Care, and Cap and Trade. Otherwise, it’s just decay upon decay. Crash says the ONLY way to clean house is term limits. Janet leans toward bi-vocational representatives. What if their livelihood came from something other than holding office? Either way, the low moral standards and behavior must give way for this great Republic to stand. Pressure from the American public (that’s YOU!) is responsible for the spotlight currently on “Acorn”, let’s not give up now! We’re on a roll!

Joe Wilson, Congressman (R-SC), created a firestorm when he called President Obama a liar in a joint session of Congress last week. Janet and Crash provide oxygen to fuel the raging flames with their opinionated viewpoints…no surprise here! What is surprising is the infrequent disagreement between Janet and Crash on the future of Sarah Palin. Take a listen…you may argue with the podcast but you will not be bored.

Where Were You September 11, 2001?
Eight years ago today our world was redefined. With the surprise attacks against us using our own airplanes that fateful day, anyone old enough to remember can pretty much tell you minute details of when they ‘heard’ the devastating news. Now, our current President wants the day remembered as a “Day of service”. The JTIU hosts think otherwise . . .
