When a nation is affluent, it’s easy to become complacent, so it often (unfortunately) takes a drastic, often cataclysmic, event to awaken it. You would have thought 9/11 would have done that, or the events that caused this Recession, but… (We are a nation of optimists.)

But I agree that Obama (et al) have taken us into an unprecedented darkness. Let’s hope there’s a real grass-roots, call-to-arms taking place. It will require such a popular movement to effect change. That’s the history of this nation.

A great analogy contrasting two troubled times in our history. Hopefully the sleeping giant can be awakened; however, I remain concerned that the lazy, social welfare (but huge voting block) entitlement crowd have already won the war and will continue to destroy the country you and I love. I’m not optimistic, but I’m ready to fight!!

Do a quick calculation… multiply the hundreds of thousand gallons of oil spewing from ONE oil well times the number of existing off shore wells…could we already have enough oil to supply our own country? Is Iran, as reported, the proxy lobby preventing US drilling? We Citizens must demand from our leaders, extraction of our oil for the security of OUR Country.

Crash, good words from ages past. What indeed is needed is unashamed leadership that is not afraid to say that unless God Almighty gives us victory we won’t have victory. I truly not think that the vast majority of our servicemen and women have any problem joining in the prayers and songs if someone would just step up and be the leader this nation needs. But don’t worry we got NASA now working to bring all us all together. Good night from a country headed into outer space if we don’t repent.
