There has been an ongoing debate not only on this site but world wide about the truthfulness or lack of same in much of what President Barack Hussein Obama says. There is a Youtube clip of a speech Obama gave, containing some pretty clear indications of the truth of this debate that has been making the rounds in recent weeks. What follows is a listing of just those statements made in this one speech. A significantly larger listing could easily be assembled. Read these and compare them with what is seen in his and “his administration’s” actions.
“I’ll make our government open and transparent so that anyone can insure that our business is the people’s business. As Judge Louis Brandeis once said; “Sunlight is the best disinfectant.”
“And as President I’m going to make it impossible for Congress to allow lobbyists to slip pork barrel projects or corporate welfare projects into laws when no one is looking……”
“…because when I’m President meetings where laws are written will be more open to the public…..no more secrecy… that’s a commitment I make to you as President.….no more secrecy.”
“And when there’s a Bill that ends up on my desk as President…you the public will have 5 days to look on-line and find out what’s in it before I sign it…..so that you know what your government’s doing.”
“When there are meetings between lobbyists and a government agency we’ll put as many of those meetings as possible on line for every American to watch.”
“When there is a tax Bill being debated in Congress, you will know the names of the corporations that would benefit and how much money they would get.”
“We will put every corporate tax break and every pork barrel project on line for every American to see….you will know who asked for them and you can decide whether your representative is really representing you.”
Charles Krauthammer rightly said…when it comes to Obama, pay no attention to what he says, only what he does. Sounds like an accurate observation to me.

Now let me get this straight…..B. Hussein Obama has just been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize? Surely you jest! Nope….it’s outrageous, unbelievable and ridiculous…but true. Now if you don’t think that the 2009 award is a joke consider this. He was nominated for this prize only 2 weeks after being inaugurated as President of the U.S., at which time he had done….drum roll please…..nothing!!! Oh yes he had spent his life as a student, community organizer and legal advocate for one of the most crooked organizations ever to steal a buck from the public coffers, A.C.O.R.N. At the time of his nomination, Obama’s only Presidential act was his vow to immediately close Guantanamo Bay, the only confirmed safe place that can house the terrorists contained there. That vow has yet to be carried out…..thankfully! At first glance, the choice of Obama is puzzling to say the least……it even surprised him. But it makes all the sense in the world when you consider two things.
First, it is spot on consistent with many of the idiotic choices in years past. Al Gore won the N.P. prize in 2007 for foisting upon society the hoax of man made global warming. Jimmy Carter, the first American President to win this joke of a prize in 2002, was selected for ….who knows what. Kofi Annan, Secretary General of the do nothing United Nations won in 2001, Yassar Arafat, the P.L.O. agitator and terrorist was selected in 1994……YES Yassar “Scumbag” Arafat!!!!! and Mikhail Gorbachev, Communist dictator, was the victor in 1990.
Secondly, Obama’s message to the world in the past 9 months has been a massive apology to every two bit dictator and banana republic that will give him an audience and chastisement to the U.S. and our allies. He has compromised the sovereignty of the United States by subordinating our financial decision making to the G20. And let’s not forget the massive debt he has saddled us with and the take over of numerous here-to-fore publicly held corporations. And don’t forget the 32 czars he has appointed to policy making positions that did not require Congressional vetting and the tax cheats like Timothy Geithner he put in key positions. And he is currently resistant to go all out to win in Afghanistan, choosing rather to keep our soldiers in a situation our Generals say is a loosing battle without more troops. It is easy to see how this resume caught the attention and captured the votes of the socialistic leaning N.P. Prize committee……he’s one of them!!

Has this President made us a better nation?
Are we safer after the Presidents recent trips and activities? Janet certainly doesn’t think so, and Crash goes so far as saying that this President is a “joke”. Janet actually hopes he is considered a “lame duck” in his first year! Was the trip to Copenhagen worthy of our Presidents time to start with? Both hosts have very strong opinions on that one!
