Uncle Bud aka “Crash”

Uncle Bud A.K.A. “Crash” is certainly a newcomer to this business. He was born and raised in Tennessee and has spent his entire life in the South. Although Southern born and bred, his professional experience has taken him all over the world. Following his college experience, receiving undergraduate and graduate degrees in engineering, he changed career direction and went into the investment field. In the late 70s he founded an investment consulting practice that serves the investment advisory industry worldwide.

Uncle Bud and his wife are the parents of three and grandparents to 8 “fabulously intelligent and incredibly winsome grandchildren”..quotation his. He and his wife feel strongly about participating in the nurturing of their grandchildren and leaving a worldview legacy for them similar to the one provided for them by their parents

His interests are wide and varied as can be seen from his blog posts and heard on “Just Talking It Up”. His successful business is a result of financial and investment perspective coupled with business acumen. His perspective derived from broad involvement in financial issues worldwide is coupled with a deep and abiding Christian worldview. Additionally, he has shared his views on varied subjects at professional conferences in large and small venues throughout the US, Asia, the UK and Continental Europe. Years ago he developed an intense interest in writing… poetry, literature and music, and has had a number of his writings published.

Never one to back away from a debate he enjoys stretching his mind through conversation with eclectic thinkers on a variety of subjects. His sons opine that he has offended people one on one for years. “Just Talking It Up” provides him an expanded venue in which he can increase the number of those subjected to his “often wrong but never in doubt” opinions draped with Southern gentility. Excited both about working with the engaging, probing and intelligent host, Janet, and the possibility of interaction with listeners possessing varying positions, he encourages questions and comments on his views.
