Janet

Janet chose a different path in life than most women in her circle. While her friends came out of college; attained their “Mrs.” then “Mom” degrees, Janet joined the nationally known, award winning music/comedy/drama troupe, “Jeremiah People”. After more than two years of performing in virtually all of the continental United States, she settled in California. For several years she worked in character; cartoon voice-overs, as well as studio; live vocal (singing) performance. Missing her roots, she flew south again where she met her first and only husband on a blind date. He came fully equipped with two little boys that were so wonderful, not long after they were married, they added a girl; 2 more boys! With 5 children, performing arts became a distant ‘second’ passion to family.

Now that their youngest child is in elementary school, at the urging of her family, Janet has the opportunity to follow her creative path once again. She’s a bit rusty, but still very comfortable using a microphone and/or a pen to express herself. As a matter of fact, you never know whose voice is going to come to the surface when Janet opens her mouth!

Between “Just Talking It Up” functions, her time is generally spent with family on their farm with horses, cows, chickens, and an elusive fox with a taste for fresh eggs.
